The Setmana Ciclista – Volta Femenina de la Comunitat Valenciana celebrates its 11th edition in 2027, consolidating its position as one of the major events in women’s cycling in the Valencian Community.
For more than a decade, this competition has helped bring women’s cycling closer to the public while showcasing the rich landscapes, cultural heritage and tourism opportunities of the Valencian Community through sport.
Each year, the event brings together cyclists and teams from different backgrounds, offering a high-level sporting spectacle across different parts of the Valencian Community. Valencian roads thus become the setting for a competition that combines sport, tourism, nature and the promotion of the region.
The 2027 edition will take place from 11 to 14 February, with a competition programme that will allow participants and visitors to discover and enjoy some of the most representative landscapes and towns of the Valencian Community.
The Setmana Ciclista is not only a sporting competition, but also an opportunity to showcase the diversity of the Valencian territory to the public and to visitors: its coastline, inland landscapes, roads and mountain passes, towns and cultural heritage.
Furthermore, an event of this nature contributes to the promotion of sports tourism and cycling tourism, encouraging the arrival of visitors, accompanying persons, teams, media professionals and cycling enthusiasts.
Its 11th edition maintains its commitment to continuing to promote women’s cycling, increasing the visibility of women’s sport and bringing the values associated with sport, effort, equality and personal achievement closer to new generations.
