The Volcano Tourist Train invites you to discover one of the most unusual and fascinating places in the interior of the Valencian Community: the Cofrentes volcanic complex, unique for its origin and for preserving traces of recent volcanic activity.
During this 1 hour and 30 minute guided tour, volcanology experts will accompany you on an educational and visual journey through geological landscapes of enormous scientific and environmental value. You will climb to an altitude of over 600 metres to visit the crater of the Cerro de Agras volcano and discover its most notable formations: Pico del Fraile, La Chimenea del Castillo de Cofrentes and the thermal environment of Los Hervideros, where signs of geothermal activity can still be seen.
You will learn about types of pyroclastic materials, the anatomy of a volcano, and see with your own eyes how the fire of the Earth left its mark on this unique landscape.
