The Albarda Garden is a benchmark in the world of Mediterranean gardening. It has an area of about 50.000 m2 in which there are 700 species of indigenous plants and a large collection of roses. As well as its great botanic biodiversity, l'Albarda recreates the image of the old Renaissance gardens of the Region of Valencia, influenced by the Arab Culture. The garden has been recognised by the Polytechnic University of València with the Master of Landscape Gardening in 2002. L'Albarda Garden belongs to FUNDEM, a foundation for the conservation of the fauna and flora of the Mediterranean.
