Discover Valencia’s noble and bourgeois heritage on this journey through the historic and monumental heart of the city. This tour will take you through the evolution of Valencia, from a city shaped by noble power to the great bourgeois capital of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

We will begin at Town Hall Square, one of the city’s most representative public spaces, before continuing to the elegant Rodrigo Botet Square, a small urban gem in the city centre. Next, we will enjoy an interior visit to the Palace of the Marqués de Dos Aguas, one of the most spectacular examples of Valencian Baroque architecture and a symbol of aristocratic power, now home to the National Museum of Ceramics.

The tour continues through the refined Patriarca Square, where La Nau is located, the first university of Valencia, founded in 1499 and a reflection of the city’s cultural splendour. We will then head to Alfonso el Magnánimo Square (Parterre), an elegant historic garden where we will learn about King James I and admire monumental features such as the Neptune Fountain and the century-old ficus trees, witnesses to the urban and botanical development of bourgeois Valencia.

We will finish the tour beside the Puerta del Mar, steeped in historical symbolism, and cross the emblematic Colón Street to conclude at the Colón Market, a masterpiece of Valencian Modernism and the finest example of bourgeois Valencia.
