We willl meet at the Carmelite Monastery parking, in the Desierto de las Palmas Nature Park. We will start the ascent until we spot the Portería Vella, where we will have some amazing views over this protected area and the constructions that the monks erected when they settled here. We will continue to the crests that will bring us to El Bartolo peak amongst a lush Mediterranean brushwood. We will explain in an adventurous and funny way some of the natural secrets that this landscape hides. At the highest point of our route, under the Bartolo cross shadow, we'll get to know its story, the name of this peak and a mysterious astronomer that used to live here stablishing mathematic calculations that, even if we don't know it, are part of our daily lives. We will have our local products snack with amazing views over the Benicàssim coast and the Old Carmelite Monastery.
