An immersive journey into the heart of mathematics

From 1 July 2026, the Hemisfèric at the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències presents Recombination – The Fulldome Journey, an immersive audiovisual experience created by digital artist Julius Horsthuis, an international reference in the visual exploration of mathematics.

This projection invites audiences on a unique journey through imaginary worlds generated from fractal structures of extraordinary complexity. Far from a traditional narrative, Recombination offers a sensory experience in which contemplation replaces storytelling and mathematics is transformed into art.
