Visit of two towns on the Costa Blanca, Altea known for its white houses and Villajoyosa known for its colourful houses. Visit to a chocolate factory.
Two of the most unique towns on the Costa Blanca.
Altea, one of the ten most beautiful towns in Spain and a haven for artists, remains to this day one of the most beautiful getaways in the province. Its whitewashed houses and cobbled streets form a unique setting that has earned it a place on this list of beautiful towns, so much so that it's hard to understand the fortress castle on which the new town was built in the 16th and 17th centuries. Opportunity to visit a local artist's studio.
On the way back, passing through the always impressive Benidorm, we head to La Vila Joiosa, a town founded in the 14th century, also on a fortress that once marked the border of the Kingdom of Valencia. The uniqueness of its colorful houses, a legacy of the fishing industry, has created a unique setting that is now copied in numerous historic centers in many cities. As a result of this fishing industry, another industry also emerged for which the city is perhaps best known today: CHOCOLATE!
Finally, we'll visit a factory where we can not only learn about its production but also taste and purchase this succulent product.
