Less than an hour from Valencia lies a wine-loving’s paradise: the Utiel region. Known as the ‘Valencian Tuscany’ for its landscapes of vineyards and valleys, this region will captivate you with a winemaking tradition dating back to the 7th century BC – one of the oldest in the world. A paradise for wine lovers where you can savour the diversity of flavours offered by the Utiel-Requena Designation of Origin.
On our tour of the wineries of Utiel and Requena, we’ll take you to explore the villages where this exceptional Valencian wine is produced. We’ll visit the vineyards and you’ll discover the winemaking process, tasting the grapes straight from the vine in August and September, and taking part in the grape treading in October.
The vineyards of Utiel-Requena are a treat for the senses, a visual symphony of natural beauty and serenity. A vast landscape of green and golden hues that change with the seasons, from the lush spring to the golden autumn of the grape harvest. Rolling hills and mountains embrace the vineyards, offering majestic panoramic views dotted with picturesque villages. A place to unwind and immerse yourself in the harmony of the land and the wine.

In this fascinating setting, you will enjoy a guided tour that includes a tasting of an exquisite wine inside the cellars.
Furthermore, the experience continues in the main tasting room, where you can savour two more wines accompanied by a delicious appetiser.
