Can you imagine breathing underwater, surrounded by fish, with no previous experience? That is exactly what you will experience in your diving baptism in Alicante. And don’t worry, you’re not coming for an exam: you’re coming to enjoy yourself.
At Dive Academy we have been seeing surprised faces and giant smiles for years when someone dives for the first time. So if you are curious about diving, but still can’t bring yourself to do a full course, this is for you.
What does the diving baptism consist of?
Then we will get into the sea progressively. Your first steps underwater will be fun and at shallow depth where you will develop several exercises previously demonstrated by the instructor. At the end of the first dive and after the first contact, we will take a break for lunch and a second dive to continue exploring and enjoying.
The diving baptism is intended to discover the sensation of breathing underwater. First we will do a short theory class covering the necessary aspects of the experience. You will learn about scuba equipment, how to move underwater, safety procedures and how to communicate underwater using signals.
