The Dinosaur Footprints route links heritage and landscape to reach the footprint site, complemented by a visit to the Temps de Dinosaures Museum with the possibility of doing an Escape Room within its facilities.
123-122 million years ago, enormous sauropods roamed these lands, leaving footprints that we can still see today at Mas de Romeu.
The Dinosaur Footprints Route combines heritage and paleontology: it starts at the Sant Miquel Towers, crosses the Gothic aqueduct, and follows the Camí de Xiva to the fossil site.
The Temps de Dinosauares Museum is a leading center for understanding the Lower Cretaceous of Els Ports, where we can see original fossils (vertebrae, ribs, teeth, wood branches, and conifer bark) and life-size dinosaur replicas.
The museum also houses an Escape Room, a game designed for families or friends. The game features various challenges throughout the museum to decipher clues that lead to recovering the stolen map of the latest fossil site discovered in the area.
