Travel with us to ancient Valencia and discover the traces and origins of our Roman and Visigothic past. A tour to explore the archaeological remains preserved from these two important cultures.
We will visit some of the Roman and Visigothic sites in the Ciutat Vella district, mainly in the Seu-Xerea neighborhood, such as the Almoina Archaeological Center, where we can see the main buildings constructed during the Roman (Republican and Imperial) and Visigothic periods, or the Sant Vicent Prison, where we will delve into our Visigothic past.
We will also search for and decipher the Roman inscriptions hidden on the facades and in the corners of the city's streets and squares, and discover the location of some of the Roman gates and walls, the Roman circus, and other sites scattered throughout our city that allow us to learn in detail about our Valentia Edetanorum, founded in 138 BC.
Reserve your place with us and walk the paths that forged an eternal and ancient city!
